Starting Today

Today I practice registering gateways.  Since I work often with H323 and SIP gateways, I was very familiar with these.  MGCP is however something I have not used very much.  It appears that if you register an MGCP gateway without binding it to an interface, it will register every time.  Then you can shut down MGCP, enable the binding to an interface and then enable MGCP and all will be well.  I would highly recommend this method of registering your MGCP gateways.
